Dovedale Baptist Church

As some may have already heard, it is with great sadness that the members at Dovedale Baptist Church, have decided that the church will be closing in September.

The church on Dovedale Road will be open as part of the Heritage Open Days 2018 Weekend on Saturday 15th Sept 10am-4pm and Sunday 16th Sept 10.30am – 3 pm.

All will be welcome to the open days, and especially to join the congregation in a special service on Sun 16th Sept at 3.30pm to celebrate and give thanks for the work of the church over the 112 years since it was founded.

Please support the congregation and all who are served by Dovedale Baptist Church in your prayers over the coming weeks and by joining them on the weekend of 15th and 16th September.

Thank you to those who were able to join us to celebrate our Founder’s Feast Day last Wednesday. It was a special joy to have Bishop Ralph leading the celebration. And our thanks to Fr Andrew, who not only preached but who made it possible for Fr Barrie O’Toole to travel from Ripon and concelebrate.
