Tuesday 7th May


Every Tuesday at St Barnabas 10.30am - Noon

St Barnabas Church host a Lodge Lane Credit Union drop-in service in the church. A full range of Credit Union services is available.

Also, Liverpool City Council has commissioned a drop-in support service, which is run by the Riverside Housing Floating Support Team and promotes the well-being and independence of vulnerable people in Liverpool. Advice on matters such as budgeting, debt management, accessing benefits and finding/sustaining accommodation is available.

Tea and coffee will be available between 10.30am and noon.

Wednesday 9th May

Churches Together in Britain and Ireland AGM

At Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral all are Welcome:

2.15pm Nadine Daniel will speak on migration, refugees, CTBI sponsorship and the experience of these issues in Liverpool.

3.45pm: David Goodbourn Lecture ‘Theology for a Learning Church: Christian Education, Lay Formation and the Language of Discipleship’ by Professor Elaine Graham, Grosvenor Professor of Practical Theology at the University of Chester.

PENTECOST Sunday 20th May 

2018 Hope in Harmony - 3.00pm – 5.00pm

Join the Pentecost Celebrations, starting with a brief act of worship at Liverpool Cathedral and then processing to the Plaza at the Metropolitan Cathedral where we will end with a rousing Hallelujah Chorus. Also, visit the makers' Market at Blackburne House. Pray together that through God’s Spirit we may bring hope and blessing to our city and region. Organised by the Cathedrals and Churches Together in the Mersey Region.

Stewards Required: A team of around 20 stewards is required to help this event run smoothly. You will need to be able to stand and walk the distance between the two cathedrals, and ideally, have some experience of stewarding in your local church context.
