Many, both in the parish and in the monastery, have been struggling with health problems during this winter. Hopefully, as we edge nearer to spring, at least the bugs that come with winter will die out. However, on a positive note, I am happy to report that Fr Tony Hunt has recovered well enough to return to the community this Tuesday. While he will receive much support from the daily visits of the health workers, it is a moment when we also realise that we need some more help to support our elderly and ailing confrères. After consultation in the Provincial Council we are advertising a part-time job for someone to join our excellent team at Bishop Eton. Preferably, this will be someone with a medical/nursing background. Anyone interested and wishing to know more, please speak to me or Fr Andrew.
