CTMH Update 5.12.18

Friday 7th December

The Coffee Stop Every Friday at Elm Hall Drive Methodist  10:30 – Noon

Meet for coffee and a chat with friends.

I have written an article in this month’s BE ALIVE, trying to piece together all the encouraging developments in both parishes in recent times. I hope it is helpful.

Project Zimbabwe Why not give a real gift this Christmas?

All year, Brother Benjamin has a feeding project where a voucher can be purchased for £10. In Zimbabwe, one voucher buys a bag of maize which can feed a child-headed household or a group of AIDS orphans for a month

Over the coming weeks after Mass on Sunday there will an opportunity to purchase vouchers. Or why not 'shine a light this Christmas'with a candle for £1? (The pictures on the candle holders have all been taken this year).

During the week the vouchers and candles can be bought from the Monastery.

Why not join us on Tuesday 4 December at 7.30pm at the foot of the stairs of the Metropolitan Cathedral. It may help in your preparations for Christmas during the Advent season helping those much less fortunate. (If possible bring a bag for life with you, and anything else you would like to donate/hand out)

Meeting this Friday 7 December from 6.30pm-8.30pm in the Fisher-More Hall. We raised £415 for the  Bishop Eton Resettlement Programme.

ALSO...We are holding a 'Table Sale' in January to raise funds for Project Zimbabwe as the Redemptorist 'Mavambo Trust' is struggling to survive in the present economic climate.

Please donate any unwanted Christmas gifts in the New Year to fund this worthy cause. Thank you!

Christmas Flower Evening:
