Are you new to the parish? welcome! If you live within the parish or attend here regularly you should be registered with us by filling in a census form. These can be found in the porch along with a Parish Directory. Hand your completed form into the parish office.

HOLY WEEK: I encourage you not to let this week pass you by, but with your families and the family of the parish to   allow the Lord to enrich you and deepen your awareness of his literally loving you to death. It would be wonderful to think that in every home there will be some special moments in the day when the family will reflect together on the events that lead us to Easter Sunday and of course I urge you to join in the great ceremonies at the end of the week, which take us from the drama of Maundy Thursday and the institution of the Eucharist, through Good Friday and the Passion to the joy of the Resurrection after a patient wait on Holy Saturday.

Please note the very different timetable from the middle of the week and please also remember that Good Friday is a day of fasting and abstinence.

Reconciliation Services: Monday (St Mary’s) and Tuesday (Bishop Eton) evenings at 7.30pm.

Good Friday Collection: For the Holy Places: especially poignant again this year with so much violence and persecution of the Church in Holy Land.

Please note there will be no recitation of the rosary during Holy Week – 1015 April 2017.

Recent Deaths: Our condolences to the families of Peter Drury, Ann Sweeney and Helen Mullett, who have all died during the last week.

SVP food collection. Thank you to all Parishioners who have generously contributed over a long period of time. However, food donations have decreased significantly in recent weeks but the need is still as great. Please leave your donations at the Monastery weekdays 10.00am—6.00pm. Cans, pasta, rice and non-perishables gratefully accepted. Thank you.

Wednesday Lunch will take place on 12 April at 12.30pm in the Fisher-More Hall. All welcome. This will be a frugal lunch and money raised will go to Lenten Alms.

Bishop Eton is very generous in the donations to MISSIO. Last year we raised £7832. To continue with our work we are greatly in need of collectors.
