FROM FR TIM
Manchester: Understandably the events of last Monday evening have consumed the nation and rightly the solidarity of the people of the city in their mutual support has been the subject of much acclaim. We unite our prayers with theirs and beg the Lord never to let us grow weary of praying and working for peace across the world.

Pastoral Area. During the week, the priests of our Pastoral Area went away to discuss Archbishop Malcolm’s request that we all plan carefully for the future. Obviously, the conversation is, as far as possible, to include everyone. We had a remarkably helpful meeting and the first fruit of our discussions is summarised in the invitation below.
Invitation to Prayer:
Archbishop Malcolm has asked the priests and people for guidance and help regarding the future of the Church and our mission in the local area. The priests of the Pastoral Area met together this week, and we believe that our first response must be one of prayer. We will meet to pray together on Wednesday 7 June at 6.00pm at Hope University Chapel. There will be tea and coffee afterwards and we will be finished by 7.00pm. WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US.
