RYM: In this month’s Catholic Pic there is a wonderful interview with Anita Carson about why she wanted to respond to a new challenge in her life and help the Redemptorists reach out to young people. Natasha Pritchard who is sharing the job with her has her own story and in the coming weeks we will give them an opportunity to speak to you about their hopes and plans.

RYM and HOPE Cath Soc Homeless Mission 21st November
We are really happy to announce that we're doing a homeless mission in Liverpool City Centre on Tuesday 21st November.
Helen (Hope) has got some donations of food and toiletries to distribute, and Natasha and Anita (RYM) have been given a couple of generous donations so have bought eight brand new sleeping bags and have got some other donations of clothing, shoes and gloves to give out.
It's a wonderful opportunity to get together as young Catholics (though of course if you're not Catholic, or young for that matter, you're very welcome!) to live out our faith. It's a great chance to just get out there and meet people where they are, show a little kindness and listen to peoples' stories.
You can meet us at Hope University (under the arch) at 6:15pm (literally around the corner from Bishop Eton), or if you're closer to town, meet us at the Cathedral at 7pm. We'll begin with a prayer then head out to meet people and give out our donations.
SERVERS’ TRAINING: For those in yr 5 who have expressed interest in becoming a Server, please come along on18 November 11.00am-11:45am.
CONFIRMATION CLASS Further to the Archbishop’s call for us to encourage teenagers to come forward for Confirmation, the new start date for the Teenager’s Confirmation Group will be Thursday 16 November at 7.30pm in the Library at Bishop Eton Monastery.
SPECIAL COLLECTION NEXT SUNDAY: Fr Michael Brehl (the Redemptorist General) has asked the whole Congregation to have a special collection for our General Fund, which he uses to respond to crisis situations across the world. We have decided to link it with our 285th Birthday on the 9th of this month and take the collection after the Masses on Sunday 19 November. As always we are immensely grateful for whatever help you are able to give.
Today the 12th November is also a date where Fr. Michael Brehl C.Ss.R has called on the congregation to promote the Redemptorist Mission Vocation - this very weekend there is a Redemptorist Voacations weekend in Clapham. Please pray for the young men who will be attending. To read more from Fr. Brehl C.Ss.R click here
