A HUGE ‘THANK YOU’ to all of you who made the church look so beautiful and who helped to ensure that our Christmas celebrations were so dignified and joyful. This weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family: may your homes and families be blessed accordingly. New Year’s Day is the Solemnity of the Mother of God. Next weekend we celebrate The Epiphany. Please note in your diaries the Parish Social evening: Friday, 12 January: 7.00pm to 10.00pm.

A NEW YEAR GREETING: I do hope you have had a wonderful celebration of Christmas and are now ready to launch into the New Year with renewed commitment in the service of the Lord. This is going to be a special year for the Archdiocese and indeed the whole country with the Eucharistic Congress here in  Liverpool next September. It will provide us with many opportunities to reflect and pray. To begin with the Pastoral Area needs to provide some 40 delegates, who will also form a core team for us, working   together over the next couple of years as we work towards the Synod in 2020.

J&P Youth Group will be meeting on Friday 5 January at 6.00pm in the Fisher-More Hall.

Holy Hour Adoration at 7.30pm on Friday 5 January. Please come and join us.
