Christmas traditionsWomen's Group - Christmas Traditions

Bring a packed lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.

We willl have a session called “Christmas Traditions” accompanied by sherry and a mince pie.

Also, we are joining with the Justice and Peace Group to make a Christmas appeal to help women living on the streets. More information will be shared at this meeting.

The Cathedral Dean, Canon Anthony O’Brien will host a series of informal evenings aimed at sharing thoughts and reflections on the weekly Sunday Advent readings.

The group will meet each Wednesday leading up to Christmas, and will offer a warm and friendly forum in which to contribute to group discussions. All are welcome to attend either single sessions or the whole series.

Please meet in the Gibberd Room from 6.30pm – 7.30pm.

To begin Advent Our Lady of the Assumption Parish is  hosting a retreat morning. Fr Chris will help us focus on how Advent is a daily occurrence and  how we may appreciate when God breaks into our lives. 10am. Talk. 11am Holy Hour with confessions 12noon Mass. A great way to begin Advent this year and preparing our hearts for the season. All welcome!
