RYM - Young Adult Group - The Kingdom of God

Are you 18 to 40 then why not come along to this evening's meeting at 7.30pm in the Fisher-More Hall. Here is the description of what you can expect

Jesus mentions the Kingdom of God 120 times in the gospels, so we know it’s important – but what is it?

  • Where is it? And
  • how do we get there?
  • We’ll have a talk and a reflection,

We will then finish at the pub.

womensgroupWomen's Group - Lunchtime session

12:30pm in the Fisher-More Hall.

The speaker will be Heather Neilsen who will speak about a charity called Homeshare.

This is a way for those of us with more house than we need can help those who need a home.

Please bring a packed lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.

Also today there will be a collection for the Women's Group Christmas Appeal

A message from the group

" After last year’s very successful appeal for the Homeless Mission and your outstanding support we have decided to offer our support again this year.

Early notice means you can involve other family members and neighbours.

Again, we are asking for items which will make the women’s lives more comfortable and support their self-esteem.

  • toothpaste, toothbrushes,
  • deodorant
  • feminine hygiene products
  • re-useable foil sleeping bags (available through Amazon from Starworld6 and eBay UK at astoundingly low cost),
  • undies in small sizes, etc.
  • hats, socks and gloves "
