Fr Michael Brehl (the Redemptorist General) has asked the whole Congregation to have a special collection for our General Fund, which he uses to respond to crisis situations across the world. We have decided to link it with our 285th Birthday on the 9th of this month and take the collection after the Masses on Sunday 19 November. As always we are immensely grateful for whatever help you are able to give.

RYM & Hope Cath Soc - Homeless Mission

From Natasha

We are really happy to announce that we're doing a homeless mission in Liverpool City Centre on Tuesday 21st November.

Helen (Hope) has got some donations of food and toiletries to distribute, and Natasha and Anita (RYM) have been given a couple of generous donations so have bought eight brand new sleeping bags and have got some other donations of clothing, shoes and gloves to give out.

It's a wonderful opportunity to get together as young Catholics (though of course if you're not Catholic, or young for that matter, you're very welcome!) to live out our faith. It's a great chance to just get out there and meet people where they are, show a little kindness and listen to peoples' stories.

You can meet us at Hope University (under the arch) at 6:15pm (literally around the corner from Bishop Eton), or if you're closer to town, meet us at the Cathedral at 7pm.

We'll begin with a prayer then head out to meet people and give out our donations.

If you want to contact Natasha and Anita email them at This email address is being protected from spambots.
